i tried to pry up the plastic that keeps the carpet down where the door opens on the floor but it seem not to come out further should i pry a little more or juste pry it in another way i was prying from the outside .. anywase .. if anybody ever hid wires a simpler way let me know

Talk about bumping your thread every couple minutes...sheesh.

That plastic trim will come up, but it is on there very well. If you're not careful pulling it up it can snap/crack/break. Keep at it, but you will have to use some force.
