Default 04 f4i cowl

I just thought to ask u guys what can I do with the seat of my f4i... ive been looking for a cowl to put on but it seems theres no suck product... is changing the seat the only way?? the regular seat for f4is is the long one... which im pretty sure you already know this... what can i do about it?? i want to cover the rear seat... thank you

Is this the banana seat? I don't know that they make a cowl for that, but you could look into swapping rear tail sections with someone with separated pillion seats.

Sorry, I'm not sure. They might have a tech article or some related post about it on cbrworld or forum or whatever it is. AFAIK, you just need to swap subframes (and, of course, the plastic).

I was reading on CBRWorld that when you attach those to the back of your bike and you hit higher speeds the wind tends to get under it and try to lift it up. And supposedly this causes stress marks where it is attached to your tail section.

ok... those could work!!! Thanks.... but is it true that they can couse and accident??? also i shaved my seat so is thinner than before... anyother comments?

did you shave the whole seat? as in the pillion part too?
i would call Targa and ask them about how secure it would be at speed and if your shaved seat would affect it. but if you're really that concerned about it, swap out the tail section for an 01-03.

it looks pretty secure to me, but i don't know exactly how it is installed so i can't really say.
