1993 Prelude 'S' with an H22, JDM block, Stage 3 head, Quaife, Tein, ST, Prospeed (vtec, H22a, civic
Medical bills & taxes I owe require that I sell the Prelude.

I’ve had a long history with this car. It used to have a built motor with a custom turbo set up in it & now it’s a responsive & well-handling NA car. Most of the recent mods done were to begin preparing it for SCCA racing, so as you go through the extensive list of modifications you’ll understand my goal.

Stock JDM block (10.6 compression)
Built Head (only 2500 miles old):
Mildly ported with valves deshrouded
Supertech & Ferrea Valvetrain
Supertech Nitride Flat valves (bump compression to 10.9-11:1)
Crower Stage 3 cams
Skunk2 Adjustable cam gears
Bronze valve guides for longevity
Manual tensioner conversion (got rid of the weak auto-tensioner)
Injen CAI
Ported & single stage Intake Manifold by Blacktrax in Cali (dyno'd to gain me 9whp)
64mm ported Throttlebody
390cc dsm injectors
Prospeed 4-1 header
2 1/2” catco high-flow cat (flanged)
Custom 2 1/2" exhaust with resonator & Thermal SS muffler
MSD SCI ignition
Blaster SS coil
Hondata S200 w/ P28 ecu, including laptop & programmer to burn new tunes to the chip!
Tein NR Coilovers
Suspension Techniques Front & rear sway bars
DC Sports rear strut tower bar
NEW Optima battery in trunk
5 lug conversion with vtec front rotors & calipers
Stainless brake lines
Centerline RPM's, 13.5 lb forged 17" wheels in Blackpearl (discontinued)
5spd vtec M2Y4 trans w/ Quaife LSD (amazing grip in the turns)
lightweight flywheel & 4 puck clutch
Euro R crank pulley
Energy Suspension Motor mount inserts
Wings West lip kit (really does help with downforce)
Aerogear wing
Tinted windows
JDM black housing headlights
Interior is in good shape
Forbidden Short Shifter
Python Pager Alarm (pages you when alarm is activated)
AC & PS removed along with the sound deadening material
car has around 130,000 miles
It was last dyno tuned to make 197whp with a less efficient header &
exhaust & a block that had bad rings (the new block is in great shape). It should now be well over 200 whp with a better exhaust system & a fresh block.
I’m doing the finishing touches & waiting for the last few parts to make it complete, then it will be ready to sell.
Asking $9,000 obo
Located in Utah
Depending on what I get I may throw in a HKB hub adapter w/ a racing steering wheel (Momo or Sprint, haven’t decided)
