Hey every 1, I need some seriouse help.
like i sed my 99' civic cuts out, this happens when ever it likes. Hot, Cold, warm, in traffic, on the motorway. I still have the power steering but my engine dies and all my dials reed zero. Thing is, i can start it bak up again if the car is in motion, if not it sometimes takes a while to start. The only clue i have is the immobiliser light flashes at me for a few seconds whilst this is happening. Also i dont want to go to Honda and get my pants pulled down over the price!! Any help would be great

 

sounds like a similar problem i had with my dizzy whenever it would get hot it would just shut off on me wether it be sitting in traffic or in motion, i would have to pull over to the side and wait 20mins and it would start rite up....so mabe take a look into ur dizzy and its insides

do u hear the fuel primery churn when u turn the key? like a hmmmm sound

 

Thanks for your reply, i'll look into it. I turn the key twice and 50% of the time the lights do not come up on the dash but then i turn it a fraction more and the lights are on and the fuel pump primes. Its all very strange to me but thanks for your help
