don't know who did it but we have a similar set-up on our ZC with Weber carbs

we did the set-up and tuned it - 152whp - 113lb ft torque

what did you tune it with?

 

whats the advantage of putting carbs on a ZC?

 

better fuel atomization than injectors.

 

it is drag only and we tuned it mostly at the track and a little tuning with camshafts on the dyno

the biggest reason we did it is that is easier to tune with no ECU and sensors trying to make it run like the ECU wants - we control timing and fuel where we want it

Would you produce a carb setup to sell like that?

 

nothing really to produce, other than fuel lines and a couple of brackets - everything else you just buy and bolt on

did you cut the stock mani and fit the carbs?

 

no, you can buy a manifold made for it - i could tell you what all we did to make the set-up - email me later and i can give you all the info - i have to run right now, but i will be back later

 

I believe the mikuni carbs came stock on them correct, the old brown top models.

 

Wow that is pretty amazing. Does anyone know of any videos of this engine in a car? I'd like to hear and see what this thing could do.
