don't know who did it but we have a similar set-up on our ZC with Weber carbs

we did the set-up and tuned it - 152whp - 113lb ft torque

it is drag only and we tuned it mostly at the track and a little tuning with camshafts on the dyno

the biggest reason we did it is that is easier to tune with no ECU and sensors trying to make it run like the ECU wants - we control timing and fuel where we want it

I believe the mikuni carbs came stock on them correct, the old brown top models.
