Suspension Forum not quick enough sorry so repost, besides you guys are smarter
Well around 3 weeks ago I installed OEM struts, and the Eibach Pro-Kit. Since installed I have this squeak from the right front, and only the right front. When you bounce the car its coming from I belive inside the wheel well. Also it passes the bounce test, push down comes up like normal and doesnt bounch mutliple times. I sprayed silcone spray on the top bushings(the ones that stick through the engine bay) so I know what they sound like squeaking and its not them. I was installing my rear camber kits tonight at work so I had the car up on a rack and was able to check things out. The shock is not leaking, nothing seems to be torn or broke. What does this tell you? When you get all of the wheight off of the front end (up on a lift, on jack stands, on a jack etc) and you bring it down it stops squeaking for around 20 miles and then it starts to slowly come back. It doesnt sound like anything is binding, it rides great, only hear it when your going under 20, then its all road noise. I dont know what it could be, ball joint? I dont think its the shock, but I could be wrong. It didnt do this before the install now it does. I know I installed OEM struts but the rest of the car is fine. I just wanted to hear your thoughts before I start replacing stuff. Sorry for the long read.
Cliffs: Gotta a squeak after lowering the car from right front, dont think its the strut and it stops making noise after you take wheight off the front end and drop it back down? Better if you read the whole thing
