Default integra ls automatic tranny rough when cold

I have a question, i have alway driven 5spd integra, now i just purchased a automatic integra ls 97,

when the car is started up in the morning when it's cold , when i shift it into drive it gives a rough jolt, when you can feel it switch first gear to second, after about 5 mintues of driving when the car is warmed up the tranny runs fine, it's only when it's cold you can feel it go from first to second gear, or when you are at a dead stop when it's cold and switch from park to reverse or drive it jerks into that gear,

what is the problem is it a bad tranny, or oil, or is this normal for an automatic ,integra Ls 97..

It doesn't sound normal for any tranny to do that. Have you changed the tranny fluid? I'd say change that and check to see what the fluid looks like. Also, check the plug for metal shavings. It should at least give you an idea.
