what id the differnce in feel right now i have a looped p/s rack and im going to get a manual rack what will the diffence be in fell harder to turn easier to turn the same........also with my car now if there is a grove in the road it pulls into it will that go away or dose this happen to anybody with a manual rack??
i've driven both and i didnt really notice much of a difference except for the fact that the looped p/s rack had a smaller turning ratio or whatever its called.
they both required just as much energy to turn the wheel while the car was not moving. just my 2 cents.

well the looping is just to keep the rack lubed up it shouldn't change how it steers. The only other thing is the power steering may have been keeping the car straight or more making it more difficult to turn on its own without the drivers input

you need to loop fluid into the rack i think from the clutch or brake lines i'm not sure to make sure that the rack stays lubricated
take everything power steering related out, besides the rack. there will then be three lines coming out of the rack. leave the small one open and loop the bigger two together with some hose and clamps.
