Default help on mini me swap

i have a 93 z6 head and i need to know when u take the oil jet out do u need to plug it off so that u get some kinda oil presure

no, dont plug it, just pull it out, the z6 block if you notice does not have the oil orfice jet

what other mods will have to be done or is it a direct swap to a d15 block with a z6 head

you mean d16? my friend and i made a mini me from his old 93 EX head and a 98 DX block....as i remember it's pretty straight sawp just change gaskets(duh) and it should work....the ECU needs to be altered i think as well....i could be wrong but i think it does....we ended up scrapping that anyways lol the Idol air control valve crapped out and that was that...plus we got diff engines

im putting a d16z6 head on a d15 block will that work as direct swap

That i'm not sure about i don't think it will be cause you will most likely need thicker gaskets to make up for the difference in engine sizes if you have a d16y8 block it would fit perfect....lemme look around ill see what i can find.
