Best track tire
Best: Hoosier
Advantages: light, stiff and fast
Disadvantages: Don't last too long, susceptible to flat spotting and expensive
Good: Kumho Victoracers (not the new Ectsa)
Advantages: cheaper, last longer
Disadvantages: heavier
Compromise: Falken Azensis
Advantages: predictable, cheap, somewhat sticky, great in the wet, a street tire so you can drive to the track, do some hot laps, and drive home.
Disadvantages: not a race tire, hard to find (out of stock in ITR sizes).

I currently use A032R but do not like the humming. Need some other suggestions.
If you have time to think about the humming of your tires while on the track, you're not going fast enough!

From tireracks write up---> The V700 is today's competition member of the Kumho ECSTA high performance tire family. It is a DOT legal race winning tire which, by capturing national championships at the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Tire Rack Solo II Nationals and the Valvoline Road Racing Runoffs in 1998, has again proven its capabilities in both autocross and road racing competition.

are all those streetable?
"All Hoosier Sports Car DOT radials have passed DOT requirements but have a special tread compound to facilitate racing. Due to this special compound, these tires are not suitable for highway use as the expected miles of wear of these tires is greatly reduced."
So if you mean, is it legal to drive them on public roads, the answer is yes, all of them are DOT approved (sorry, Cosworth, but it's true). Is it wise to drive them on public roads, then no if it bothers you to be replacing your tires every few thousand miles (or less).

I would think your best choice would be a tire that's made specifically for drag racing, such as the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial or the BFGoodrich Comp T/A Drag Radial... no?

i love the A032R's i was REALLY fast around the track with them...like other people said if you can notice the tire humming you must be cruising in the cicuit or something ...i'de say the ET Streets are best for dragging.
I'd have the A032R and RA1 in the same league.
IMHO, the RA1 is a much better tire than the A032R, hands down...
Hoosier R3S03 - Kumho V700 - Toyo RA1 - Yokohama A032R
As you move along this spectrum step by step to the left, dry traction and cornering improves. To the right, wet traction and treadlife and cost per mile improves. It all depends on what you're looking for. All of the above are true track tires, much stickier than street rubber like the Falken Azenis or Bridgestone S03 or Bridgestone RE010 (all of which are good street tires though).
There's no universal "better". There's a spectrum of track tires:
Hoosier R3S03 - Kumho V700 - Toyo RA1 - Yokohama A032R
Hoosier R3S03 - Kumho V700 - Toyo RA1 - Yokohama A032R
I run RA1's on my race Civic. Very good in dry & wet. Much better than A032R. I'm probably going to try Kumho's next. I need a DOT tire because I drive back & forth to the track. That's why 2-3 hours of humming tires annoys me.
