Default stock redline on 88 crx si computer

just wanted to know because I dont want to be damaging my zc cuz I pound it pretty hard

Shift 'er at 6500, because you don't want to bounce off the rev limiter which is at 6800 I think. Get an 89' 'teg 5-speed ecu and then shift it at 7200 rpm with beter fuel and spark maps.

the rev limit is 7200 on the Si ecu.
i think the 88-89 integra is 7600

no it isn't 7200, trust me (i've bounced off it a few times...) I think the FUEL cut is 7200 rpm...

When you talk about redline, are you talkin about the max saftest RPM or are you talking about what the max you are aloud to go up to?
Saftly I would say 6500 (which is the redline on your tach) and I think 7000 is fuel cutoff (Meaning the fuel injectors shut down until the RPMs come down to a safer RPM)

yes 6500 is safe.i agree with mncrxsi.the red line on the tach is 6500.red line is there for a reason,bearings dont like exceeded redline.

6800 rpm is the actual redline I would not take it past 6500, but the fuel cuts at 7200
