My friend has a 98 Prelude Type SH, with the standard 16" alloy wheels. Since he is getting new rims he said I could buy them off of him for cheap. If it is a five bolt pattern and the integra is a four is there anyway to interchange them. If so have u seen any integras with Prelude rims?

 

As far as I know, the only way you can put those wheels on, is if you get the ITR 5 lug conversion.

 

i dont think they would fit b/c its a different lug pattern
tegs are 4 x 100

ludes are 4 x114 or 5 lug

 

get a ITR setup the SH rims are phat and will look killer on a teg

i'm afraid a five lug conversion isn't quite that simple...

You would be better off just buying a set of 4 lug rims than converting everythign to 5 lug....way too much work/time/money for prelude rims in my opinion.

He said he has an SH, which is 5 straight spoke wheels. I think they look nice.

 

You could do a 5 lug conversion with prelude stuff instead of ITR stuff, it will end up being a lot cheaper.

 

bah, those wheels are fuggin HEAVY as lead. you dont want them even if they are free.......

a 5 lug conversion can cost ya anywhere from $800-$1200 so its not th easiest swap on the wallet just to use different wheels

So could someone exlpain the 5 lug convertion? I heard that some peps did a 5 to 4 lug on ITR, why not pick up there 5 lug setup? Who do I talk to? I have RSX-S gunmetal wheels to go on my rs. tanks
