i am about to take my car in for painting..i have a 1996 civic..i want to paint my moldings the same color as the car..when i take it into the paint shop..should i remove my side moldings and have them paint it seperate from the car or is leaving the moldings on the car while its being painted ok?

 

ideally it would be better to take them off

 

I would highly recommend taking them off so they can spray under them as well
