oil press. sending unit
93 Honda accord 2 dr SE. The oil press lite blinks at me.Want to check oil press. at block but have not done so before. Need direction.Does wire to unit pop off,screw off or how?What to use to take out unit;special tool,etc. Press. I should get at idle and normal. Thanks,Tony

I believe the switch has a bullet terminal and should release with a little force.
Switch is located above the oil filter
Requires a 22mm deep socket.
Honda oil pressure specs quote 50psi at 3000 rpm.
There is no mention of minimum oil pressure at idle, but as a possible guide: GM sensors are set to light up at 6psi.
