Default Brake Caliper Powder coat

I am going to be powder coating calipers for my black civic Sir. Has anyone done this before? any tips?? I will write up an article of how to do it when I figure everything out. Oh and what color should I go? I was thinking red or silver

well are you going to go have it done at a shop or are you trying to do this yourself? If you are doing this yourself just pick up a harbor freight powder coating gun for 60 bucks and go to town and hopefully mom wont be pisse when you bake this stuff in her oven

just curious, the stuff like the piston and the ummm rubber things around the sliding pins, that come out and go back on easy without causing any problems?

yea they can be replaced and or removed easily, but the 350 degrees from an oven isnt going to hurt them i'm sure they get much hotter than that under heavy braking

nah I just figured they had to be removed to powder coat, not worried about the heat

you can just mask over them with masking tape while applying the powder, then remove the tap before baking and you should be good to go
