Default zc redline

I have heard that the redline for a zc engine is only 7000 is this true? I was under the impression that it was about 7500

depends on the ecu you're using. the bottom end can take a shitload of rpms. the only reason no to go tooo high is the valvetrain. i used to push my ZC to 8000+ on a ZDyne (crap) ZC converted ecu.
...it kinda answers the question...
