If your car is an EK you need 99-00 Si brake cables or if your really lucky a 96-00 EX that had the rear disc option

No 96-00 Civic had rear disc except the SI.

I did a rear disc conversion on my 97 coupe and used everything from a 1992 Integra parts car, even the cables. Works fine.

I have the HB si on my 94 coupe, and they don't work right. Supposedly dc2 cables do work. I'm wiilling to swap them out with you if you get the dc2. That way we both know they will work on both our cars.

It was an option for the 96-00 EXs, if they had ABS the had rear discs, look around you'll see,

All '96-00 EXes had rear drums, regardless of whether or not they had ABS. Check the Honda parts catalog if you need further confirmation.

try your parts store, I'm doing the 5 lug too...(slowly) and I bought 2 new 99-00 si ebrake cables for $75 US.....since your over seas u prob. can't.... integra cables are just as good.... you should be able to get 'em. Worst case I could ship em to you if u have no other options. would be round 90 to 100 for new cables w/shipping.
