what size throttlebody to go with??? need help
i recently swapped in a 95 usdm gsr motor into my 93 hatch... the motor is internally stock with a skunk2 IM and a jdm dc 4-1 header the power is nice but i want to upgrade my trottlebody with a matching skunk2 unit... the options i have are going with a 60mm, 66mm, 68mm and a 70mm...my question is how do you know which one is right for your set-up and what will give you the most power??? sorry for the newb question but... i had to ask. TIA
i was told for my set-up the best gains i could see would come from a 68mm throttle body does anybody have this throttle body who could give me some info???

hate to say it but u will probably not have any noticable gains by increasing the size of ur throttle body. ur engine does not use enough air to need a bigger higher flowing tb. save ur money and use it elseware.
bigger throttle body will give you better throttle response. but to big and you'll loose power down low, and may only get good power up high in a short span between a few hundered rpm.

I agree. However, if you plan on getting everything they will all compliment each other eventually.

i dont see any point in getting a throttle body opening bigger than your im opening. before you send it to king, there is a guy on here who does it for 100.00. king is 150.00 i think.
