Default Limp suspension...

im talking about a 93 prelude si. I'm still trying to solve the shock knock problem for everyone and thought this might be a problem. I was changing my rear struts the other day by myself. I noticed that in order to line up the bolts from the lower arm to the struts, you have to push down on the rotor to line them up. One side had massive force so I had to stand on top of it to line up the bolts. But on the other side where the shock knock noise is, there is very very little force pushing it back up. All I had to do was use my hand and push it. What can it be? I was looking around in there and the only thing it connects to is the round bushing (either #25 or #23 in the picture from the link)

Would the bushing cause this?

Default Re: Limp suspension... (silverlude15)

yeah, tried the collars, strut bushings, sway bar links, sway bar bushing... basically i cant think of anything else. And I thought that it seemed odd that the lower arm does not have any resistance... and the strut DOES connect to it. Well, what will cause the lower arm not to "bounce" back up like the other side?
