JDM Fenders. Yes or No?
Hey everyone. i have a 94 prelude and its about to go into the body shop. The whole car is going to get repainted due to some rust and some faulty shaved door handles that the previous owner did. My question is, I have a set of JDM fenders here, and was wondering if you guys like the 4th gens with or without JDM fenders more ... I have had some people tell me they don't look as clean, and some people tell me they look sick. What do you guys think? thanks!
what do you mean JDM fenders? the front 1/4 panels? the only difference is they have a little cut-out for marker lights, I think.
and whether or not YOU like them is the issue...

Yeah the front fenders. And yes the only difference is the marker light. I like them (that's why i bought them
) but i am trying to get some opinions.

I have the fenders and lenses and everything already. I would just have to wire them up and paint them. A part of me thinks it looks cleaner with out the marker lights. But another part of me wants to add the JDM part to it ... I cant make up my mind ...

i just put jdm fenders on mine (had to totally replace the front end after an accident) and the wiring on them is in no way a PITA. it took me maybe 15 min to wire them up. i love the look of them myself. just that added extra bit of jdm glory on the front end
i say put them on. stand out from the rest. be different but thats my opinion. i have a pair on my car and yeah the wiring took 10-15 mins tops.
BUT its your car your build do what you want.

Actually, the problem is that Greg H cannot make his own decisions. He's too worried about what others will think about his fenders. He's trying to find acceptance from the Honda community about this decision choices; go JDM fenders or not. He doesn't seem to know what he wants to do in his car. So his main idea is to build a car to make the public happy. He's shallow about his car. He's another example of what I call a JDM ricer.
The question to Greg H. Will you choose the Japanese fender (side makers) because more people would like it?
Kids, the lesson for today is: Build your own car for yourself; not the public viewing.
