Default My ED3 Sedan Project

It was a nice day here in Idaho, so I thought I would take some pictures of my newest project car. 1988 Civic Sedan DX. I picked her up for $200.00

I know she needs some work. Here are my plans
-British Racing Green
-D16Z6 swap
-GSR/LS seats
-16" Rota Torques in Bronze
-Mugen or Type R style front lip
-99-00 EM1 rear lip modified to fit rear bumper

Things I already have for it.
-Stock exhaust
-EX dash with cluster including tach
-EX center console and shifter
-Stock DX intake and airbox
-EJ8 Coupe Sideskirts to be modded to fit
-MSD Blaster External Coil and Pro Cap
-Skunk 2 Coilovers (Installed)
-Tokico Blues (Installed)

Here she is....Feel free to comment.

Damn ghetto intake. She doesnt drive on the streets yet, so who cares.

Thanks.

When I picked it up it didnt run and had no wheels/tires on it.

Replaced the wheels/tires, alternator, and battery. Runs like a champ. No smoke or anything.

Hell no. Parts were free. Left over from friend's EF hatch. I am into the project right now $300 if you add the exhaust, dash, cluster, coilovers, struts, and sideskirts. it came with the MSD ****.

Thanks, I wish it would have been in better shape, but 200 bucks is a damn good deal.

Thanks ******

I am waiting for the lazy asses at the local junkyard to yank off the airbox to an EX sedan. Should work.

Also going to pick up my new hood, and fenders when I go to SLC on the 17th. $125 picked up. Brand new, in box.

hahaha.

Dammit, I should have PS'd that out of the picture. Or atleast waited for the stock one.

I slammed her to the ground yesterday being bored. I am still waiting on my exhaust to be installed. Should have it on by friday.

I also bought a Chikara header (used) for 20 bucks from a friend for now. I will have that bish installed and streetlegal by the end of next week when she rolls into the body shop for some TLC.

Actually, while I'm at it, I'll just photoshop it all to what it will look like with the given mods on your list.

Slow as of right now. I want to get it painted, but I think I have to wait a week or so for some parts.

I have wanted to have an 88-91 4dr project for a while now. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

I think you did well for $200, especially getting a nice daily for that too while you work on it.

Yeah. I actually still need to pick up my damned exhaust for the project. I have no truck so it is kinda hard.

Should have the car ready to drive by middle of next week for I have to move to Boise. I really hope it runs good enough to get me there.

Thanks. I made my mind up last night that I am going to paint the car and get the interior correct before I **** with the motor.

I am going to be driving between Pocatello, and Boise here every weekend, so the gas mileage will help out right now. Rocking the DPFI.
