That's not gonna help me justify the purchase.

No flame necessary, you don't like the bike cosmetically, thats not how I usually choose a bike, by the looks, but some do... To each his own

ohh my god the new RSV is straight sex. I have a ? though schu since you posted this. is the red one a mille r or like a mille r factory. i noticed it has a little more fibre on it and the akrapovic exhaust. and i cant remember now that im typing this but does the red colored one have ohlins and marchesini's as well that the black one doesnt.
EDIT: i now niticed that they both have the marchesini and ohlins but they must have just put on the akra. im still wondering though if that is the base RSV. that is alot of nice equipment on the base model bike.

thats one of the deals for 06! both the R and the factory have full ohlins and marchesini's, making the R a better deal by far. before it was the other way around, the higher trim level factory version was the better buy

I'd tend to agree. The alien-head look of the front and gold wheels just aren't working for me.

its still gonna be around what 15-18 for the R though right. i dont know i just cant justify taking my sights off my RC51 for that bike when it will cost me more than 5k more marginal if any increases in performance.
the fiddy one is a great buy at the current price levels for used versions. right now 04-05 factory's are about 11-14k(R's are 2-3k less)... the new bikes will come in at 14kish for the R and 17kish for the Factory. those are LIST prices though, and most dealers will deal off that price. Without an HRC kit in the 51 the rotax will have more power, but thats not the important part, its the chassis and suspension combination of the aprilia
combined with the power to weight ratio.
I will have to do a full pictoral of the nera in a bit... I have a new camera coming that is ripe for the job

yea but when you can get a new RC for less than 9k OTD it really cant be beat.
please post more pics. i just dumped my GF
also do you think that the full ohlins is that much better than a tuned showa. i mean i know the suspension on the RC is stiff as hell and the rear swing arm is outdated but is the new RSV really that much better in the handling dept?
and the power isnt really too much of a concern. i mean once you have around 140hp and 130lbs tq you have as much as your going to need on any road around here.
