Default ground point on tranny, ball joints

4th gen, I can't figure out where the ground point is on teh tranny, the only point I see I can't move the groudn cable to.. anyone have a pic of it?

also, anyone have any tips on tightening bal joint castle nuts? I keep spinning the ball joint and can't tighten the nut. this is on the tie rod end btw.

put a jack under the suspension, get a block of wood (cut to fit at full suspension droop), put it between the balljoint and the fender well. Jack up the suspension until there is pressure on the top of the balljoint, then tighten the nut..

the tie-rod end has too m uch up and down movement to do that trick.. i'm going to try to c clamp the top of the rod end and the knuckle and se eif that works.. not much room to work with though

I don't think you understand what I'm saying.. Up and down movement won't matter..
