Bent HX lip
I posted a while ago about getting one of my HX wheels straightened. I couldn't find anything close by, so I didn't do it. I did measure it all around, and it seems that the wheel itself isn't completely bent, but the lip is pushed in in one place (along with some curb rash I can take care of). Here's a pic:

Is there any way I can straighten this myself? I have a pretty well stocked garage at school and a machine shop (I go to RPI). I was thinking about banging it out or heating it, but I don't know what will happen with cast aluminium.
Sorry about the huge pic, I don't know how to resize.

You can try but it will never be perfect. You can go to a rim place and they can fix it for you for probably $100 ball park. You can also probably buy a new HX rim.

You mean by placing a 2x4 on the bend and banging on it? I'll try that tonight, I got my Azenis today and I was going to just put them on, but it looks like we might get more snow, and they are a biatch to mount.
