there not wrist band, they might of been at one time

the point i see to them, is soaking up boil over at the track, so it doesnt drip onto the track or your car eating the paint

I thought those where to keep the lids on while hard racing/autocrossing...in addition to absorbing minor leaks....i know it wont keep the lid tightly on, but if it was to come loose, it would hold the lid in place.

I've only seen them slid past it I guess it would work for minor leaks. But I've always thought its just a show thing.

all i know is when you brake hard (like when your auto-xing) the reservoir expands and the little "spoon wristband" is supposed to keep it from expanding so much

WTF? That is terrible, what are you talking about? Keep it from expanding? huh?
That is like putting duct tape on a concrete truck so it doesn't expand.

I got a Dana wristband from a job fair, and put it on the resivoir. It lasted about a month until the brake fluid soaked into the rubber and destroyed it. Just FYI.

awesome.

lesson 1.

pour brake fluid on your paint. observe for 10 minutes. edit post.

i'ts just to keep anything that comes out off of the rest of the car. and make stupid people spend 30 more dollars on something that says spoon or mugen, but doesn't work any better than a dirty sock.

greg- who only owns parts with expensive names that work better than ones without them.

It said at the buttom of your one post that you where looking fo a few things, and one of the things you where looking for was seatbelts. Take the car to a honda dealership and they will replace them if they are ripping or don't retract wright. Free lifetime replacment from honda to you and all how own them.
