Just bought a beat up tlr200. Needs some love but will be sweet. I need parts but I don't see a year model on the bike. Can the year be determined from the serial number ?

nm.. i figured it out.. A=1980 all the way to Y=2000 and then it starts at 1=2001

A=80
B=81
C=82
D=83
E=84
F=85
G=86

DUH - of course. Sorry, I finally, after 30 years, have gotten another bike. Kinda rusty about stuff.

anybody know what the other stuff means?

I know the first letter means the country J for Japan, H is for Honda is ZMD his chassis code?
