A way to brighten gauge lights?
Taking the cluster out is pretty easy. You have to remove the cluster cover which has 2 screws in the back and two in the front. Then just unscrew the cluster from the car.
You can also remove an opaque orange film that's at the top of the gauge cluster. It won't be backlit anymore but it'll be a lot brighter, because light is projected directly onto the gauges instead of being dispersed through the orange film.

i dont know if normal incandescent light bulbs deminish light output over time, but it probably couldnt hurt, just take the few screws that hold the cover on, out, theres 4 screws tha hold the cluster to the dash, then theres a SpeedO cable, and 3-4 wiring conectors unplug them and take it out

These two are each in the opposite side of the steering wheel.

Theres another exact bolt on the other side.

In the second pic, is the screw right above the white button-thingy required, since on the first pic you took it out as well?
Thanks a lot!
I'll make sure to do a walkthrough when i do mine(right now)
