I've got too many jackets so I've come to a decision of selling my A* TZ-1. First of all, this jacket is in excellent, excellent condition. I've had it for about 2 years and probably wore it about 1000 miles. I used it mostly for night riding because of it's warming qualities, therefore, I didn't really sweat in it. It has no funky smells, stains, scratches, rips, tears, or abrasion marks.

The jacket is absolutely gorgeous. I've always loved the TZ-1 design. Simple and sleek yet not at all monotonous. It looks great from every angle. And the quality of it is absolutely amazing. It's got Italian design written all over it. FYI, contrary to popular belief, Alpinestars is an Italian company. The stitching, layer placement, overall pattern, choice of leather. It's got so much yet it's so affordable.

The protective qualities are hard to fault. There's GP protectors at the elbows and shoulders. The full grain leather is 1.1mm thick and some areas are doubled up. There's double stitching along the main YKK zipper. And even the comfortable stretch panels are lined with Kevlar. There's even an insert for a backprotector to slide into.

The vest liner is removable for warmer days and there's perforation along the collar for added ventilation. If I'm just cruising on a hot day, I'll just unzip the front about half way down and that does the trick. Most of my riding was done at night with this jacket and even at 50 degrees it's relatively warm.

The arm logos are reflective. And there are GP protectors on the elbows and forearms.

There are protectors underneath the shoulder leather.

There's a reflective logo on the collar as well. And you get a glimpse of the perforation.

Breathable elastic panels on the insides of the arms for great comfort and fit.

The stretch panels are reinforced with Kevlar.

The zippers along the cuffs are terrific for when you're off the bike and while slipping the sleeves over your hands. The buttons are extra tough and securely clasps the two sides together.

The leather flap inside the cuff helps to prevent the long sleeve you might wear underneath from getting snagged on the zipper. It might even help you hairy ***** too.

Here's a pic of the outside pocket zipped up.

The entire jacket is lined with a polyester liner, even the pockets.

The waist adjustment sure does come it handy after a big dinner.

There's double stitching in some areas such as the zipper which could potentially be a weak spot.

YKK zipper.

The comfort liner goes all the way down to the wrists.

The main inner pocket.

Pockets on the inside of the vest with secure hook and loop closures.

Just look at the quality and attention to detail.

The vest is attached with one long YKK zipper.

There's also a small tab holding the vest securely in place under the arm pits so that it doesn't slide around.

The collar was a bit on the stiff side at first. After all, there's a double layer of 1.1mm cowhide.

Vest removed.

Size 44 US and a 54 EUR

You can zip up an Alpinestars pants to this jacket.

And it even comes with a loose end so that you can have it sewn on to any other brand pant.

And ofcourse you can insert a backprotector.

So there ya go. A terrific jacket at an unbelievable price.

I'll take paypal payments online only. If you're local, feel free to contact me and I'll let you come by and check it out. Then if you like it, you can pick it up with cash in hand.

I'm 5'11" 185lbs. I usually wear a 42/52 but A* fits more on the snug side so I got the 44/54.

Awesome pictures, still looking for $200? I have a black tz-1 size 40 that fits great but if I put on some weight I'll be in trouble.

Then you should look into a size 42. Mine is a 44. But if you still want it, I'll do $200 shipped anywhere in the US.
