03 accord sedan front seats in a 2000 accord ?
Just trying to upgrade my car to leather seats and was wondering if anyone has done 03 and up front seats? or maybe even 98-02 front coupe seats in a sedan??I like the coupe seats a lil better. Just wondering if it will be a direct bolt on?
Maybe you could get just the stock leather covers, and put them on your seats. I took the covers off when I had my 4th gen, washed them, and put them back on (non-leather). It would be a lot cheaper than buying a whole new seat, just for the leather. I doubt very much if the seats are interchangable with the ones you mentioned. And a whole new leather seat would be quite expensive.
theres nothing wrong with my seats i just wanna have leather installed. also i found the seats off a 01 accord for 375 with door panals i was thinking about getting them but then i'll have my cloths seast in the garage taking up space...
TL-S(first gen, not the current one) TL CL CL-S(last gen. not the first one), and all the accord coupe and sedan are interchangeable.98-02(as far as i know
make sure you take a good look at the Side air bag before you doing anything stupid

really? a set of 01-02 acura cl-s would fit in my 2001 accord coupe??
I know for dimensions aswell as fitting it shouldnt be much of a problem since they are the same platform, but my real worry is the functionning of the SRS system (side airbags in seats) i have them working and if i swap, i still want them working...
was looking about this info a while ago but never got a chance to find answers..

i think all cl/tl have side air bag in their seat, well, at least the newer one, the plug is all the same so if you find the air bag in your target'ed honda seat, money

Yes, 01+ CL's have side airbags.
I don't think it would really matter anyways, because I'm assuming the side airbags would not work unless you had the correct SRS module.

That is exactly why I suggested getting leather covers for the seats you have (remove the cloth covers and install leather covers). That is assuming that the leather seats and cloth seats actually are the same under the cover. They may have different padding or completely different configuration. Coupe seat covers would definitely not fit on sedan seats.
