Cruise control stock on a crx
I've owned 2 88 CRXs one SI and one HF and never seen one with cruise control ever. But I just bought one with it last night. It's gotta be aftermarket right?
You can usually tell if its an aftermarket unit. The cruise control lever will kind of look "out of place" on the steering column, and the lever will not look like your typical HONDA part.
Just open the hood and confirm. You will see the Vacuum actuator and wiring and linkage to the throttle body that will NOT look factory.
My 90 HF was stock, untouched, but my 91 SI came with an aftermarket cruise. That was one of the first things I yanked out of there. It was installed so poorly!

Yeah, I admit, driving from Minneapolis to Chicago in a big convoy of cars for Hot Import Nights in my CRX would have been nicer with cruise control, but that's nothing compared to dealing with the JDM ITR 4.7 Final Drive in VTEC all the way there......hehehehe.
One of the Integras in our convoy had an ATS 4.9 Final Drive. I couldnt imagine the high cruising RPM of that!
