2 part question....ITR part fitment on LS............
know a friend of a friend how recovered his R after being stolen. the car is now stripped of engine and tranny but chassis remains with body. He is selling some stuff out. Will a 2K ITR front end (inluding headlight housings) bolt onto my front end of my 94LS? Also the ITR is black, i know there are differences, but does that black match the color on my LS?? IF not is it too noticeable to roll around with until i get it painted? Part 2, how bout the side skirts and rear bumper from the same car? Will it fit on???
thanks for the help.
thanks for the help.
I have a friend who did a similar conversion on his 95 LS. He told me that the 98-00 body parts bolted up just fine. As for the paint matching, it would depend on whether or not your paint code matches his...
IMO, if you're getting the parts for a good price, then I say GO FOR IT! That front end and rear bumper are nice upgrades if you ask me...
I hope this helps...

thanks for the input. The front end is going for 250 for evertthing from the bumper to the lip and the headlight housings. I think its a good deal.
Is your friend selling any suspension parts? I could use a rear sway bar, springs, shocks and LCAs. thanks

so the front, rear and sides will fit up, as well as the spoiler.
However, i cant seem to find the codes for the paint on the ITR to see if it matches my LS. I would love it if i didnt have to paint it all. Also, if the paint doesnt match, how bout of a miss is it? IS it possible to role around with them bolted on without looking too bad while i wait to get them painted???

Usually there's a paint code sticker in the door jam......try checking there. Check to see if that code matches yours. There is still the possibility of the paint NOT exactly matching even if the paint code DOES match, since the car you're getting the parts from is a newer model. In any case, seeing as how you're getting a FAT hookup on these parts alone, I still say hop on it before somebody else does. You may regret it later if you don't. I mean, hey, it could be worse....at least the parts aren't a TOTALLY different color than your car's (i.e. - Red LS w/ Yellow ITR front end).
