Check out the sexy black rims!
Well I recently repainted my wheels. They actually aren't THAT cool, but the fact that I took the old ones (which were a little hashed but not too bad, but silver just doesn't look good with this color of a car) and made them look what I think is cooler is just awesome! I was a little worried they would look like normal wheels that just don't have the hubcaps on them, but the paint is really glossy so they look good. (Sorry, that is my only picture so far and I wanted to show off the car. Haha.)

Next project... Repainting the bumpers and finishing the interior (painting it black too).

That is the repainted dash.

oh wow....
this is what us ricers did back in like 96-97.
as long as you stick to black paint, youre in business.
EDIT: I like the emo hair cut, and sagging in tight pants.
WAY TO ROCK!

Ricers? What... I resent that. Totally not a ricer here, just looking for a cheap visual upgrade. And I didn't do it low quality either. I actually knew what I was doing.
And as for the dash. I used a vinyl spray paint. Don't remember the brand and too lazy to get up to check. Um, I wiped down everything that was getting painted with paint thinner to remove all the oils from it. Then I washed it with soap and water, and then wiped all that off. Then I painted the dash. One tip I got was to put the spray cans in hot/warm water for a little while before painting because it makes the paint come out as a better mist. Not all chunky and crap. And the cans I used had the nozzles which rotate to get an up and down spray pattern //////////// or a side ways one -----------------------, so you can reach the hard parts without having to tilt the can and spray chunks of air. And I just did a TON of light coats and gave them each like 15 minutes to dry. It looks REALLY awesome in person and I used gloss paint so it constantly looks as if it has been just wiped down. The only problem is you need to make sure you get all the oil off, or the paint will bubble, and you can never again use oil cleaner stuff like armorall and stuff. Also it doesn't cheap very easy at all either. My sister digs her backback into it every day when getting in my car and no problem yet. Good luck with it!

It is actually a free ride mountain bike. I am sure you were just joking though? The frame design slants down like that on all of those types of bikes. The seat is right there too, there isn't a huge gap. And as for the fruity colors. It is just what they did, it is some crazy 7 layer paint job that fades from metallic sky blue to metallic midnight blue/purple. It is actually really cool looking. Thanks for the concern though. Haha.

Ok. So it is "Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric Color" I got it at Autozone and NAPA. (I know some places carry certain brands) Mine is the "VS 1 Black Vinyl" color. It shouldn't be too hard to find, I think like 6 bucks a can. A little on the spendy side but one can will cover the whole dash for sure. I have the brown interior too... Also... just wanted to add that I took the glove compartment, center console, clock console and gauge pod apart and painted them seperately. That way I was able to make sure I didn't miss anything (paint inside and on the side of the glove box, etc. It took a couple hours (a good warm Saturday) but turned out awesome. I painted the full dash in the car of course and just taped off the windshield and everything else around and then laid a bunch of paper over the seats and stuff. Hope that is all helpful. If you have any questions you can email me at nissanshift_@hotmail.com. It was pretty much a learning process for me and it turned out super awesome.
Just remember, super light coats, short burst sprays all that junk. You probably already know that stuff though.
And I am told that this paint work really good on fabric too for door panels and stuff.

I used that exact paint and painted my whole interior black, and painted the door panel fabric also to match, it came out sweet, but i had to take the bus for 3 days to skewl.
That car looks nice btw. I hope to find one that clean soon for my next project.

Haha. Just as a clarification... The pants aren't tight, they were just sagging due to riding my bike and look a bit tighter than they are, and I have since cut my hair! HAHA! Um... Yeah......................
Totally not looking forward to painting the rest, but I gotta wait til the weather gets nice.
