keep blowing fuse in my 86 crx si!!!!
well my car was running fine then alll of a sudden died. i tried restarting it and it would just crank. looked at the fuse box and noticed a 10 amp fuse (i think 3rd or 4th from the left) blew i replaced it and it fired right up. i drove another few minutes and it blew again. all i need to know is which fuse controls what and i think i can take care of finding the short or whatever it is. anyone with diagrams that can help me??? its an 86 crx si.

my friend had a 2g crx that did something similar, it would keep blowing fuzes, untill we changed ecu's and it ran fine, something in the ecu fucked up and was blowing fuzes, i dont rember which fuze it was tho
now before you start looking for another ecu just check all your wires specially the ones from the stereo thats a common mistake with people that have their stereos installed by someone that doesnt know what they are doing.....first find what that fuse is then just check all the wires
Screw you guys, I'm... going... home.

Get a good multimeter and then read the Wiring Diagrams and Electrical Troubleshooting sections just below Chapter 27. Also check out the FAQ and ask about it in the Technical if you can't figure it out.
Redpepperracing, much love for the 1g, yO!

what fuse is it for? it could be an intermitent problem where a wire is loose and flopping and touching another wire or touching ground before it reaches the load. in electricity there are four things to reconsider.
high resistance
short to ground
short to wire
open circuit
you seem to have short to ground or wire.
