sohc zc into 89 hf. runs like crap because of extra egr vacuum hose. what to do??
i swapped a sohc zc into my 89 crx hf, and i can't get it to run right. i have the ectra egr vacuum line because the zc has no egr valve on it, and i was told to just plug it up, but when i do that, i have no throttle response. now, the wierd thind is, when i plug the vacuum line into the intake where the map sensor line is supposed to go, it runs almost like it should be, other that throwing a code five, overheating, and burning rich. please, anyone who has done this swap help me, i've been working on this thing since last year, i stored the car for the winter, and its time to get this crap figured out.

plugged in into where?? i've tried putting a t in the line, every concievable combination of vacuum lines plugged in and blocked off, but nothing makes it run right

i did that, and it runs like ****. no throttle response. im doing something wrong, i just have no idea what

alright, i'll get a picture tomorrow and email it to you, see if you can help me with this. if anyone else has any ideas whatsoever, please let me know. i've been messing with this ever since i put the engine in last fall. i need help, bad. pm email call me if you want, 765-228-8273, just give me some help, please
