Wiring help 89 crx
Can anyone tell me where to find a wiring diagram for a 89crx si instrument cluster? Any clues where to search because i did try that. Have trouble finding where the wires to the small blue plug go. Is this the vss??? Please help!
If the blue plug isn't needed for the cluster as stated in one of the posts, then why is it there???? Can anyone tell me what it is for?

The little blue plug is the vss pulser that you seek, now whats your question in regard to this grasshopper?
BTW I couldn't find the diagram, but maybe someone else can.

One of my ? is how many different clusters were made? I continue to see that 88-89 or 90-91 are interchangeable ( plug and play ) but I have found this not to be the case. Flame me if you have nothing better to do (not you Super Chicken) but I have discovered at some expense that there are different cluster wiring harnesses for the same year. If this isn't true, why do some have vss and others don't?

nd the 91 wiring is different from the 89</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes the wiring is different 88-89 to 90-91 but the blue plug is for the speed pulser
http://media.honda.co.uk/car/o...9.pdf
go there for the pulser location
Also try this, disconnect your speed sensor and drive around do you get a CEL? I did on my 88 Si and on my 89 DX with a PM6 ecu so it has to ge a speed signal from somewhere and my experience tells me its the little blue plug on the back of the speedo
