Questions about leather suits and fitment.....
See link below for review of suit:

I bought a size 54 (european) after doing much research to make sure I was buying the correct size. Well, it looks like I was close - but I have a feeling a 56 would have been a better fit.
I'm 5'11" 178 lbs. The fit is snug...which isn't a big deal, I need to lose a couple pounds anyway, but its too short. My crotchal region is getting squashed big time when I have the 2 pieces zipped together. Yes, this is in a bent over riding position - standing up is not really possible, and no, I don't have a huge ****.
Question: I emailed motostrano to inquire how much exchanging would be, but I'm wondering if the suit will stretch/loosen up a bit? I don't have experience with such things so anyone's input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I think you linked to the main page. This was your other link:

The suit will stretch, you just need to wear it, use some leather conditioner and wear it wear it wear it. I had the same prob with my suit (Spidi Norick 2pc). It didn't stretch a HUGE amount, but enough to make a difference and make it comfortable...losing a couple lbs helps too
However, if you say it's to short, you might need to exchange and get a bigger size. I don't think wearing it to try and stretch it will help lengthen it.

Fixed the link, thanks.
Losing a couple pounds will help in the tightness, but not the length from the shoulder to the crotch....you think it will stretch though?
The fit is like it was tailored specifically to me...thats why I don't want to bump up to a 56....its just a tiny bit too short.

while loosening will occur, I do not think the suite would ever stretch to a size 56 form a size 54... best get the right size (exchange) if possible, if not ride it for a while and see what the stretching will yield.

yeah, its best just to get the right size from the get go and not have it on the back of your mind.

I think the problem is the suit design. If you try a different brand, you might be ok w/even a size 50.
I'm 5'11" 185lbs. I have a size 50 suit that I squeeze into. I'm regularly a size 52.

How tall are you Mschu?
And Scareyh22a.....how the hell do you fit into a 50 OR a 52? You're bigger than me. Weird.
On a side note I have decided to exchange the suit for a 56. Motostrano already emailed me a return invoice. All I have to pay is the cost of shipping the suit back to them. Pretty awesome customer service there too!

i'm in the same dilema .. i can't figure out if i need an a* euro 54 or 56. the sleeve length on the 54 seems as though it might be a hair too short, but i think its fine .. while the rest of the body fits nice and snug.
on the euro 56, the sleeve length is a little better, but the rest of the body seems more bulky
i'm 5'11 160lb

what about length of the suit? I could see where you might have a hard time deciding. Being 175-180, the 54 fits snug in the chest area, looks tailored to me. But it would be perfect if I was 10-15 lbs smaller - so I would see that as fitting you well.
Does the shorter cut of the sleeve affect your mobility? If not, I would say stick with the 54 as long as you have some gauntlet gloves.
