Headlight Harness Problem
The passenger low beam headlight on my 96 went out last week. First thing I did was get a new set of bulbs. When I but the new set on it was still out. So, I switched the bulbs from side to side to make sure the new bulb was bad from the box. Same result, the pass. side was still out. I measured the voltage at the plug and it read about 17v, so I know the plug is getting power. Could the metal contacts in the plug be spread apart far enough to not make contact with the male end on the bulb?
Any other possible problems or suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Joe

I'd go back and recheck your voltage.
If, indeed, you're seeing 17volts; you've got a serious problem with your alternator (overcharging). If thats the case, you're going to loose other bulbs and electronic components very quickly.
