question about timing.
when having to re-do your timing. do you have to spin the crank around a few times before lining it up with the cams?
or do you just spin it once till it gets to tdc?

don't turn it at all if you have the cams in and don't have a timing belt on it - with belt still on just turn it until arrows on cams are up and TDC mark on crank pulley is aligned
well crap. it wasnt, and the crank deff spins when the timing belt is off, but when i took it off i noticed my cams were one tooth off
and then i tried to fix that and thats when **** got effed up

as of right now everything is up. and it still wont start
but one of my friends told me you have to spin the crank around all the way a few times before you can set it on TDC to re-time it, so that why i asked before i got out there turning that ****

if everything is up, just set crank to TDC and then set cams - you don't have to turn it over - after you get cams aligned loosen the tensioner bolt, turn the crankshaft counterclockwise 1/4 turn and then tighten the tensioner bolt
