Default 91 Lude 2.2i Vtec - vrs - 99 Accord Type-R ?

Hi.

Just a quick query about performance levels.

I have a 91 Lude 2.2 V-Tec JDM 197bhp(auto), my brother has a 99 Accord Type-R.

Hes always going on about how the Accord is 'striped-out' and its lighter than my Lude ? I dunno about that ... but what can we expect in terms of performance ? will it be too close to call or will the Accord smoke me Lude ?

Cheers

If his car is a 5 speed you are pretty much toast!

ATR is faster for sure.

I have raced my friend in Lude with JDM H22 with H23 tranny and I had Euro Lude H22 with ATR tranny... He caught me at the end of 5th gear And ATR has even stronger engine.

Bench racing is teh gay...

However, if your tranny was a 5 speed then it would be a drivers race. He has slightly more power than you ,but, more weight as well. Where you have an auto-tragic, I wouldn't even bother racing him.
