i have a 95' accord 2.2 sohc vtec and when starting when its cold it always idles from around 900 rpm - 2300 rpm what is the problem how do i fix it? oh yea it does it somtimes after a hard drive, like gettin off the freeway when first sitting at light but always when starting HELP ME OUT
you need to clean your ICV by removing it and cleaning the screens and the valve it's self. after reinstallaion, check for vacume leaks
Also make sure that you clean the throttlebody in the vicinity of the throttle plates.
Crud can build up there; causing interuptions in idle air flow as well. It's also a quite common cause of off-idle stumbles and hesitation.

Replace your thermostat its stuck open not allowing the motor to properly warm up confusing the sensors. My car did that for years before I finally figured it out.
