i pulled the hood latch and the hood wont pop open i tried prying on the hood to get it open but it didnt help. what to do when this happens???

 

While you pull the release latch have someone else push down on the hood..That is very common on our cars..

 

Searching could help alot in this problem too.

But you have the very common EF problem. Like Mr.Speaker said, you need two guys to open it. Another pushes the hood carefully while you pull the release latch. When you get it open, you see the lock in front of your radiator. Notice a little clip what moves in the lock. You have to lubricate that very well, then the opening wont be a problem.
