Opinions on all motor setup
I've been researching alot on here and I think i'm going to try the following:
Type-S camshafts/valvetrain/pistons, SMSP header/2.5in exhaust (with stock muffler), Camgears, Hondata. I already have the type-s airbox with a k&n filter. My goal is around 205whp. Do you guys think this is doable? I can't seem to find consistent dyno results around here. Some people with stock top and bottom ends get 195whp and some people with JUN heads get 215whp...what gives?

u don't need the type s valve train with the type s cams.
i would recommend upgrading to a crower valvetrain and using either crower stage II camshafts or jun cams with the rest of your setup.
i would guesssomewhere around 200whp with all the mods and proper tuning.

Type S cams should be okay. Consider aftermarket valvetrain such as Supertech. If you want to rev higher, you should consider upgrading the valvetrain. Only go with JUN cams if you are going to get high compression pistons.
I say you get a LSD, Stage 2 Exedy Clutch w/ your choice lightened flywheel, Some good *** ****** tires that grip. Get a good suspension setup.
Now the motor....
Type S Pistons will save you alot of $$ so good choice, you can't go wrong with that header, valve train....I like the skunk 2 stage 2s w/ full valve train, and get your self a nice pulley set like unorthodox is like around $300 I believe but it's worth it...oh and get a Greddy timing belt, and ofcourse your cam gears and a Hondata S200.
You'll have a shitload of fun with that setup I guarantee it..

how hard are the type s pistons to install? if you are doing headwork is it easier to get it done at the same time?<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by VTECRaZeR »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I say you get a LSD, Stage 2 Exedy Clutch w/ your choice lightened flywheel, Some good *** ****** tires that grip.
