Question on Power for RSX base model
Ok,
I am seriously considering getting a RSX. If I were to go with a base model RSX 5-speed(want to keep the rates a little lower, and type s' are hard to come by around here without sloppy mod jobs) what kind of effort/funds would it take me to get it to par with a Type S model. I would prefer to keep it all motor, and I don't know if I really want to mess with the ECU, because of past issues. Other than the simple Intake/Headers/Exhaust what would I need to do?
THANKS

Yeah, sorry dude its going to be cheaper to buy an A2 from the start then mod an A3 to keep up. I/H/E/ and reflash just isn't going to cut it.
Plus most Type S's I see at least have an intake. You may be able to keep up w/ a stock one but the A2 responds to bolt ons extremely well. Buy an A2 and don't look back, its worth the extra few grand.

There are Raz cams that some of the a3 guys use. You should look on Ephatch. There are plenty of guy in the low to mid 14's N/A. That should be able to beat or keep up with an a2
