Type SH come ONLY as manuals.
Base Model have an option of manual or automatic.

Type SH come with a small body kit and special honda rims (look better than Base Model rims).
Base Model dosent come with any body kit and comes with normal honda rims.

Type SH, I dont know the technicality, handeling wise, has some advancement over the Base Model.

While that is good advice you could actually link the guy to some of the info so he's got something to read instead of posting the same question in another forum.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/689805 FAQ
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=762014 Base vs SH
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1081801 H22A4 base vs SH engine details

Now, OP, read read read.

^ What?

And get under your car, and look to see if you have an intermediate shaft... If you do, it's base model.

some SH's come with the OEM lip kit but most just have the stock (black plastic) painted the color of the car

Um guys.. instead of getting all technical why not look at simple things like the rims as mentioned before...

Base= blade "fan" wheels.
SH= 5 star wheels

Base = square ring at the top of your shift boot where the **** connects
SH= round ring...

Base= no third brake light on the spoiler STOCK
SH= stock third brake light

Base= no ATTS light
SH= ATTS light

...simple things.

IDBre is teh wrong.
at least you worded it wrong
all SH's came stock with the oem wing. The Base Model was a dealer option to put it on, but the base HAD the third brake light on the rear deck regardless....the SH did not have a 3rd brake light on the rear deck.

sounds like the best way IMO as well. everything else can be changed/removed and swapped out. and yeah its funny that this was brought up a year later. i believe the one that brung it back from the dead, didn't see the year, only the month and the day. oh well. it got more replies now than then.
