Whats the Difference from JDM Type R & USDM Type R Bottom End??

What makes the JDM type R able to redline at 8,900 and the USDM only redlines at 8,400?

How much different is the bottom end?

Could just be the ECU...there is no mechanical difference except piston dome CC.

The redline and revlimiter is at the same place on both the JDM and USDM ITR.

Don't forget the USDM bottom end's oil pump has a CKF sensor attached to it.

I own a 99 JDM ITR, and I'm telling you the redline and revlimiter are the same on both USDM and JDM ITR's.

Don't bothering posting if you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

The tach can be off at high RPM, but that car sounds like it's a little more off than usual.
