They are shocks, not sturts. Honda didn't start using struts on these cars until the 2001 Civic & RSX

And I also endorse the Koni Sport/Ground Control Coil-over sleeve setup. Lifetime warranty, and oh so many options to choose from...

Koni/GC is a popular choice around here as well as k-sports... to check pm's go to "my profile" at the top of this page and then look for "instant messsage history"

Well, to throw something different out there... I have a 97 civic LX, (similar, not the same, but similar) I have spent about 1100 bucks on my suspension and I am totally pleased... I Have Koni yellows, eibach sportline springs, suspension techniques front and rear sway bars, and custom built tower and tie bars all around...

I dont think you can go wrong with a similiar setup... also dont forget about suspension... you can only take it so far untill tires start to play more of a part in the control of the car,

Side note: why do people like ground controls coilovers over eibach sportline or pro-line?

height adjustability, custom spring rates available, BULLETPROOF construction, lifetime warranty. the last two I'd expect out of all eibach's products, so they arent exclusive to GC's, the other two (adjustability and spring rate options) are what seal it for most people i think.

though i agree with you about your setup, im in the process of piecing together something very similar

I thought it might be for the custom spring rates... i am experimienting with tie bars in verious locations... let me know if you guys want pics i can post them up (they are not the most pretty things in the world, but they are experimental)
