Default much more power after fuel filter changeout?

Today I decided that b/c I was so bored that I would replace the fuel filter on my crx. To my surprise after changing my fuel filter that my rex runs with a lot more zip. I've never ever for the life of me seen a fuel filter go bad. Mind you that I am the 3rd owner o my rex but I never thought that at 185, 000km's that the fuel filter would remotely be dirty (modern fuels are so clean).

needless to say I'm impressed by such a minor fix.

Anyone have the same experience?

Yes, I have had several people come to me with issues like lack of power, or bogging in vtec... I always suggest this, and frequently it helps

yes I would definitely say for sure that it made a big difference in my engine's power....

A cheap fix for a chance at getting more juice from the engine.
