FS/FT: 2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES in CT **CLEAN** Lots of Pics
9/25/06 CAR IS SOLD! THANKS FOR OFFERS!!!
NEW PICS PAGE 3!
EDITED 7/11/06!!! NEW INFO/PRICE!!!
Hey all, up for sale is my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES. I purchased her about 7 months ago for $5700, and now am forced to sell. I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle, previous owner was a mechanic and owns a parts lot/used car lot, and the Galant was used for his commuter/daughter drove for her school commute. So all the mileage is highway, even my commute is all highway. the original owner did smoke in the car, and there is a few cigarette burns on the door panels (both front) and a couple on rear seats. i shampooed and scrubed all cloth inside the car to get rid of odor, and it is gone, car smells like new inside! the panels dont look too bad, but can be easily replaced from ones at junkyard for like $15 a piece. (its just a small cloth insert, not whole thing) The paint still appears and shines like new, there are a couple VERY minor dings (nickel sized) from shopping carts, one on the rear bumper, and one near trunk. also theres a small scrape on lower passenger side rear bumper, barely noticeable. and thats it. interior is MINT other than cig marks, exterior looks BRAND NEW. this is just a little backround info on the car, i will keep this updated, just wanted to throw up some info. Here's the specs...

Reason For Sale
* The reason I need to sell is I have this as well as my 1998 Acura Integra LS with JDM H22 swap. One or both of the cars have to be sold do to space limitations where i live. I pretty much bought this to have something reliable for the winter, while i slowly worked on the Integra. I dont want to sell this but i want a 5 speed, which i have with the integra, but i want a change from that. so id like to sell both cars, but one or the other would be fine
Now that the Integras running, i just want something a little different, and im trying to sell this for about what i paid for it. So hopefully i can get down to one newer Acura/Honda, and maybe a bike

UPDATE
On 3/1/03, i Hit a small push cart for lawncare on the highway (it was a scotts grass seed/fertilizer spreader which fell out of a truck). i was crusing at about 75, and unexpectedly it appeared in the middle of the road! i wasnt able to swerve to avoid it because of traffic/speeds. so i hit it, which only damaged the bumper cover. it just tore off the plastic, no internal damage, nothing knocked out of alignment, nothing broke. just needs a straight bumper replacement. get one used for like $75, new on ebay for $150-$200, or New from Mitsubishi for $398. but obviously, itd be much easier cheaper to get one used. which im in the process of doing, but until then, i am taking a few hundred off of the asking price. the new price as she sits now is $5,400 OBO or if i get it fixed, it will remain the same $5,700 OBO NOTHING to worry about with the hit, it was small and EASY fix, thats why i took more pics today, and some detailed shots of the damage. trust me, it looks alot worse than it really is! Next post will be New pics!!!

DAMAGE PICS

Everything still straight/uneffected. looks bad, but really did NO harm!

about 7 more pics can be seen at above link in previous post. (interior shots, engine pics, full size spare shot) Accepting all offers/trades. bumper issue isnt going to make me drop my asking price to a lowball. its an easy fix, and if it takes long enough ill replace it. any questions, just ask!!! MUST SEE!!!
car is very clean, the bumper is an easy replacement. im letting her go for cheaper because of bumper issue, but if it takes a while im just going to replace and add a few hundred to the price!!!
