I was under the hood of 90 CRX HF and on the firewall (engine bay) nearest the window wiper motor (underhood fuse box/shocktower) is some type of emissions box of some sort. I never saw one of these on a 88-91 Civic/Crx. I saw one on my 85 CRX before.
Also I believe there were vacuum lines coming out of it but not 100% on that. Anybody know what I'm talking about? CAn I just unplug and toss? The car has a d16a6 swap in it.

yeah it is some sort of emissions junk, but your map sensor is also in there. take the cover off it, your map sensor will be on the left, the sensor on the left is the evap purge solinoid i think. you can unscrew the map sensor from this assembly, relocate it and throw the rest in the garbage, just make sure you cap any open vacuum lines when your done.
don't need pics, its part of the map sensor, evap purge solinoid junk, emmissions garbage. If he's running an d16a6 with a Pm6 then the purge solinoid should'nt even be plugged in, A6's don't have them, like i said keep your map sensor there, junk the rest
