Bilstein PSS Installation!!! Pls help
Can someone give me the sequence of installation as far as parts is concern as if which goes first starting from the pillow mount all the way to the struts. For some reason, i hear a loud thump when i hit a sharip bumps on the REAR ONLY. Ive got a strong feeling that its not supposed to be like this and can be corrected due to my faulty installation. A picture is greatly appreciated or a fully detail explanation...thanks much
I did tighten those too, i did preload the suspension as well but the thump noise sounds more like a plactic echo noise coming from my suspension...the only think i could think of will be the sequence on how i put them together..so if someone can post that pic or even give me a detail explanation, i would greatly appreciate that
i dont think i will miss bump stops...thats very important to have on a car...what i really need is someone can tell me like a part sequence on how they install theirs..from pillow mount, bushings, flat washer and all that kind of stuff

theirs a PDF file somewhere on line for assembling a coilover. im not sure where i saw it. possibly the TEIN site has it. the thing is, most coilovers are pre assembled. their just a bolt on, adjust and go drive.

if you're hearing a loud tump.. stop driving it... you're more then likely hitting your bumpstops... and if you keep on driving you're going to have blown shocks..
you want at least an inch to two inches of room from the top of the bumpstop to the very top of the shock when it's compressed.... easy way to check this is... jack the car up... then get another jack and put that under the brake rotor and jack that up... eventually it'll lift off the original jack a little.. all you need is a cm of space and that'll show the shock compressed and then you can measure how much room is between the bump stop and the top of the shock...
its not making a loud thumpp during reg drive only on occasions where i go over some sharp bumps...i really dont think its blown at all but if they are, how much does it cost for bilstein to get this rebuild? if i was going to sell this all together, and has bout 300 miles and 2 weeks old, how much will it be? im thinkin of selling them because i want to upgrade to pss9...what u think
